How recognition works.
A public directory. A community vote. A transparent way to tell the two apart.
The directory
The inaugural directory contains 100 professional profiles researched from public firm biographies and professional sources. The selection is an initial editorial sample, not a complete market survey or a determination that these are the 100 best advisors. Publicly listed professionals do not need to have nominated themselves. A listing does not imply participation or endorsement.
Profiles link to their sources and show a research date. Titles, locations, and firms can change. Check the official biography and regulatory record before establishing a professional relationship. We do not invent assets under management, investment minimums, years of experience, or credentials.
The 2026 Community Choice rankings
Votes recorded during the edition determine placement, in descending order. Every profile begins with zero votes. Advisors with equal vote totals share the same rank; the next rank reflects the number of advisors ahead of it. For example, two advisors tied for first are followed by rank three. Alphabetical order is used to display tied profiles and does not break the tie.
Profiles with no votes are unranked. The directory includes 100 researched professionals. Inclusion is not a numbered editorial ranking. Community winners are declared only after voting closes, held votes are resolved, and final results are reviewed and published. Finalists are the positive-vote profiles ranked in the top ten in those reviewed results; ties retain the same rank.
Voting rules
- The current edition’s deadlines are shown above. All dates and daily resets use UTC. The editor may pause voting for integrity review.
- Each verified signed-in account may cast one vote per UTC calendar day across the entire competition. The daily allowance resets at 00:00 UTC.
- A submitted vote is final for that day. You may vote for the same or a different advisor on a subsequent day.
- Voting is free. No purchase, client relationship, or nomination payment is required.
- Multiple accounts used by the same person to multiply votes, automated voting, paid voting, vote exchanges, and rewards offered in return for votes are prohibited.
- The site enforces duplicate-account daily limits in its database. Sign-in does not establish that every account belongs to a unique person; daily limits are not a guarantee against all abuse.
- Votes suspected of violating these rules may be reviewed and excluded. Any final recognition is subject to review before publication.
- Anyone may share a profile’s voting link. Advisors and firms are responsible for reviewing their own promotional use of rankings and complying with their applicable professional requirements.
Nominations and corrections
Anyone may nominate an advisor, including themselves. Provide an official professional website, current firm, and relevant context. Nominations and corrections are saved for manual review. They do not automatically become public. Up to five submissions per signed-in account per day are accepted.
A nomination is not a vote and does not create a ranking advantage. There is no fee to submit a nomination. A listing may be corrected or removed if it is inaccurate, inappropriate, or cannot be supported by professional sources.
Claims and editorial review
Profile ownership is verified separately from professional qualifications. A verified claim permits the advisor or authorized team to propose updates; it is not a quality rating or regulatory clearance. Proposed biographies and photographs are reviewed before publication. Editorial stories, external awards, and community voting remain separate.
Independence
Ranking positions are not sold. The launch directory has no paid placements. External awards mentioned in The Journal belong to their respective organizers and are distinct from this site’s Community Choice poll.
