When you browse
Public advisor profiles are compiled from professional sources. Profile and firm information is not a statement about private financial affairs. The application does not add advertising trackers or sell personal information.
When you sign in and vote
When enabled, Supabase provides email or Google sign-in. The application can receive your account ID, email, and optional display name. Vote records store a one-way hash derived from your site-specific account ID, the selected advisor, edition, UTC vote date, and submission time. We do not publish account identities or individual voting histories. Public pages show aggregate vote totals.
When you nominate or request a correction
We store the advisor’s name, firm, professional website, your contact email, the message you submit, a hashed account key, and submission time and status. This information supports review, accuracy requests, and abuse prevention. Contact emails and submission messages are not automatically published. Please do not submit account numbers, client records, or other sensitive financial data.
When you request an introduction
We store your name, email, optional phone number, requested advisor, topic, message, source page, campaign parameters, consent wording and time, and delivery status. You can submit without an account; an email entered in the form is not treated as verified. A daily, one-way keyed hash of your IP address helps limit spam. The application does not store the raw IP address in the request record.
Your request is saved in Supabase and sent to the directory team’s GoHighLevel account for review and follow-up. As you authorize in the form, the team may share it with the requested advisor or firm. Profile claim requests are also sent to the team for verification. Submitting either form does not subscribe you to marketing or grant automated text-message permission.
Conversation plans and fee comparisons
The planner sends your chosen location and professional focus to the directory to retrieve profiles. Your meeting preference, timing, and optional asset range remain in your browser unless you choose to include them in an introduction request. “Save my plan” stores your answers on that browser with a 30-day expiry; expired plans are removed the next time the planner opens. Use the remove control to delete a saved plan sooner. Browser storage does not sync across devices. On shared devices, consider printing instead of saving.
When you choose an introduction with a brief, the brief is kept in session storage, tied to the selected profile, and offered for up to two hours. You can review, include, edit, or discard it before submitting. An included brief becomes part of the request message and is handled as described above. Fee calculator inputs stay in the browser tab and are not saved by the calculator or included automatically in an introduction.
Storage and service providers
The site uses Vercel hosting, Supabase database and authentication services, and GoHighLevel to organize introduction requests and profile verification follow-up. Those providers may process technical and security information under their own policies. The application does not set its own advertising cookies; authentication and hosting services may use cookies needed for sign-in and access.
Saved advisors, profile claims, and email
Saved shortlists and claimed profiles are linked to your signed-in account. Claim evidence, proposed edits, and review notes are stored for moderation. Uploaded portraits are stored separately and become part of the public profile after review; upload only professional images you have permission to publish. Do not submit private identity documents or client information.
Email preferences are opt-in. We store your account email, newsletter and reminder choices, preferred advisor, unsubscribe tokens, and delivery history. You can opt out through your account or an unsubscribe link. When activated, Resend processes email delivery and Supabase processes email or Google authentication. AI drafting uses only editor-provided public source material and topic instructions; newsletter subscriber details are not sent to the AI service.
Basic site analytics
The site stores a random browser-session identifier in session storage and sends a daily hash with page-view events. Counts are deduplicated per page and day. This is used to understand site traffic, not to build advertising profiles. The analytics endpoint does not save your IP address or send data to an advertising network.
Sharing links
Social sharing links take you to the selected provider only when you choose to use them. We do not post to your accounts automatically. Other websites’ privacy policies apply after you leave this site.
Retention and requests
Voting and submission information is retained as needed to operate the edition, review integrity, and maintain the directory. Request access, correction, removal, or deletion through the corrections and enquiries form. Include enough detail to identify your request, without sending sensitive documents. Requests are reviewed manually.
Updates
Material changes to this policy will be reflected here with a revised effective date.
